Meditation/Prayer of the Day for June 20, 2016

What a wonderful card for today! I was just working on my manifestation worksheet by Sarah Prout that you can find here .  This card goes right along with it. I am so amazed at how the Universe relays messages to us so persistently. This card stuck up out of the deck when shuffling, and I was tempted to pick it. I decided that I would follow my usual method and shuffle until a card falls out, and guess which card fell out? This one again!

Thank you for financially rewarding the hard work that I have done. Thank you for helping me change my thinking patterns so that I can continue to align my vibration with all that is good and abundant. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to pay it forward, so that the blessings and good juju continue to spread infinitely.

Tree Meditation

You can lie down, sit or stand for this meditation. Standing helps me get the fulles t effect. Close your eyes if you feel comfortable doing so. Clear your mind of all your worries and all your troubles. You are right here, right now, and nothing else exists at this current moment. The only thing you are aware of is your breath, flowing effortlessly in.... and out, in.... and out. When a thought comes into your mind, say to yourself: nothing but me exists in this moment, nothing matters at this moment. I detach myself, just for this moment, from everything. The only thing I notice is my breath.  As you clear your mind, and release your stress, you feel yourself relaxing more and more deeply. Focus now, on your feet. Imagine them barefoot and on the earth. You can see yourself standing in the grass, in the mud, in the sand, whatever setting makes you feel more connected with the great M other E arth. And another thing, you can apply this (#35) to our attitudes towards others. I was just sitting here thinking about one particular person who really gets under my skin, grinds my gears, and pushes every last button I have. This person drives me absolutely NUTS with his ignorance, lack of caring, and refusal to understand anything! I've wasted so much of my energy hating on him. This is very draining for me. I have labeled him as the culprit, the energy vampire, but I am the one who is allowing it to flow as such. I must remember that he is an extension of me. We are all extensions of each other. We're connected. What he is experiencing, I am experiencing as well. I will embrace the energy, nurture it, love it, Reiki it, and allow it to be, rather than fighting it and fueling it.
